UK Ministry of Defence Trains Ukrainian Armed Forces on Challenger 2 Tanks to Support Battle for Freedom.

The Ministry of Defence in the United Kingdom has shared a Twitter video showcasing the training of Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Challenger 2 tanks, which happens to be the UK’s main battle tank.

According to John Some, the UK Commanding officer, the objective of the course is to provide the Ukrainian fighters with an extensive understanding of the tank within a short span of time.

The course will consist of four different modules for the commander, gunner, driver, and operator.

The fighters will then receive tactical training via simulators before being deployed to defend their territory back in Ukraine.

This initiative is part of the UK’s efforts to train Ukrainian fighters in their ongoing battle against Russia. The Ministry of Defence has committed to providing 14 Challenger 2 tanks, along with ammunition, to support Ukraine in its pursuit of freedom, as stated in the post.
