“As long as they have missiles, they will not calm down”, says Ukraine’s President

Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s President said on Sunday that Russia would surely launch new missile attacks on Ukraine. He warned his defense forces and the citizens to be prepared to work together to withstand the consequences.

Zelensky said in his nightly video address, “We understand that the terrorists are planning new strikes. We know this for a fact. And as long as they have missiles, they, unfortunately, will not calm down”.

Zelensky said the week ahead could be as difficult as the previous one. The attacks by Russia on electricity infrastructure resulted in the most severe power cuts since the beginning of the conflict in February.

Zelensky added, “Our defence forces are getting ready. The entire country is getting ready. We have worked out all the scenarios, including with our partners”.
