Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said the Visegrad Group countries are calling on the European Commission to help them deal with the next wave of refugees from Ukraine. The V4 heads of government met in Kosice, Slovakia, to discuss security challenges, including those related to the war in Ukraine and the energy crisis.
– We were able to open doors for everyone, open hearts, and we really rose to the occasion,” the Prime Minister said. – So today we are warning and calling on the European Commission to take quick preventive action, action here, now and today – not waiting for what might happen in 2 or 4 weeks, because we don’t know,” Mateusz Morawiecki said.
