US Senators Urge Pentagon to Urgently Provide F-16 Fighters to Ukraine for Game-Changer Air Superiority

The US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, has received a letter from a bipartisan group of eight senators asking the Pentagon to urgently provide F-16 fighters to the Ukrainian army.

The senators believe that providing these fighters would be a “game-changer of the rules of war against Moscow” and would give the Ukrainian Air Force superior capabilities on the battlefield.

This request comes after Slovakia and Poland have decided to supply Kiev with Russian-made “MiG-29” warplanes. The US senators’ call for F-16 fighters shows their support for Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
