Amendment to the Sanctions List

On June 2, 2023, the Security Council Committee responsible for resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011), and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al-Qaida, and associated individuals, groups, undertakings, and entities implemented amendments to the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List.

These amendments, indicated by strikethrough and/or underline, pertain to the assets freeze, travel ban, and arms embargo as outlined in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021) under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.

Additionally, the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List incorporates all changes made to the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List. The consolidated version is available on the Security Council's official website, allowing easy access to the comprehensive information regarding individuals, groups, undertakings, and entities subject to these sanctions.
