Two killed, 16 wounded in a multi-car crash on Chicago's South Side

Two died, while at least 16 were wounded in a multi-car crash on Wednesday evening on Chicago’s South Side. Some have been rushed to hospital.

Chicago Fire Department tweeted, “Chicago police are on scene at 87th and Cottage Grove for a serious accident involving possibly 6 vehicles. Two people have passed away with 10 others transported to area hospitals”.

According to reports, a driver in a stolen car was traveling the wrong way at a high rate of speed and caused the chain-reaction crash. The driver along with a person were killed in the crash.
