Japan was the target market for Turkish Salmon originating in the Black Sea. Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) will hold business meetings with fish importing companies in Tokyo and Osaka by organizing a Trade Delegation program.
Turkish Salmon has become one of the essential export products of the Black Sea region in recent years. It has been announced that the promotion and new markets of Turkish Salmon will be expanded.
Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) Fisheries Sector Committee Vice Chairman İlker Yıldırım said, “There was an increase of 111 percent in quantity and 168 percent in value in exports compared to the previous year.
Within the scope of the URGE project activity program, we will have bilateral business meetings with the largest importers of the sector within the scope of the Trade Delegation visit in Japan between January 28 and February 4, 2023, and we will make a significant contribution to the exports of 2023.” said.
