Toledo police shot and killed a domestic violence suspect overnight at 5700th block of Hill Avenue, near Rogers High School, West Toedo, while responding to the call of a man discharging a firearm and possibly shooting his wife.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male suspect outside of the residence who was still armed with a shotgun. The suspect was eventually shot by Toledo Police officers, and pronounced deceased on scene.
“At approximately 12:33 AM, Lucas County Dispatch received a call from a female reporting that her husband was shooting a gun, and that she may have possibly been shot. While officers were still en route, the caller and her adult son escaped to the roof of the residence,” stated Toledo police in their Facebook post.
