The Internal Security Agency and the Lublin branch of the National Public Prosecutor’s Office have made three more arrests in the ongoing spying case investigation of a suspected network of spies cooperating with Russian special services.
Earlier in the investigation, six people were temporarily arrested.
The National Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the temporary arrest of the three additional individuals.
The court supported the prosecutor’s position and granted temporary detention for three months against the three suspects. This brings the total number of temporary arrests in this case to nine.
The case has raised concerns about the potential for espionage and foreign interference in Poland. The authorities are taking swift action to investigate and address the issue.
The arrests demonstrate a commitment to national security and the protection of confidential information.
