    Pakistan’s Sindh province stopped issuing yellow number plates for vehicles’ registration

    The Sindh government no longer registers automobiles with yellow licence plates.

    According to information provided by Zia Shah, Deputy Director Admin of the Sindh Excise and Taxes Department, the issuance of yellow licence plates has been discontinued, and instead, new licence plates with security features are being given to vehicle owners.

    Over 250,000 new number plates have been given to vehicle owners, and the stock of yellow licence plates has been moved to the department’s godown, Shah added. As there is no delay in the procedure, he urged the public to obtain their new licence plates within three days. Those who want new number plates to replace their yellow ones can also acquire them in three days.
