The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has apologized to passengers for the delay in train services on the Abuja-Kaduna route on Monday due to a shortage of diesel supply.
The Manager of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service (AKTS), Pascal Nnorli, said in a statement that the delay was caused by the supply of diesel/AGO falling short of the required specifications to operate their rolling stock and that the statutory laboratory test was carried out to ensure that the right specifications were used.
Nnorli thanked passengers for their patronage and assured them of the corporation’s commitment to better services in the future.
