Police Arrest 8 Suspected Bandits in Northwest Nigeria, Recover Arms, Ammunition and Cash.

The police in Zamfara State, Nigeria have arrested eight individuals on charges of banditry, criminal conspiracy, robbery, and fraud.

The police reported that they recovered 15 locally fabricated guns, 146 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, a Honda car, N100 million cash, and dried leaves suspected to be marijuana.

Three of the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, and they were found to have specialized in defrauding bank customers at various ATM locations in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, and Zamfara states.

Additionally, on Monday, police arrested a 46-year-old man from Kaduna State for criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, cattle rustling, and acts of criminalities, including being an informant for bandits.
