Income Tax Officials Visit Lenovo and Flex Facilities for Inquiry

Puducherry/Bengaluru/Tamil Nadu – September 27, 2023 – Income tax officials conducted visits to the facilities of leading Chinese Personal Computer manufacturer Lenovo in Puducherry and one of its offices in Bengaluru as part of an inquiry. During the visit, laptops belonging to Lenovo employees were inspected, according to one source. Additionally, efforts were made to establish contact with Lenovo’s senior management both during and after the visit as part of the inquiry. Lenovo confirmed the visit and expressed its commitment to cooperating with the authorities and providing all necessary support.
