Revolutionizing Wound Healing: A 14-Year Journey to a Miraculous Cream

A Long-Standing Research Pays Off
After 14 years of meticulous research, Professor Dr. Murat Çelik, and his assistant Associate Professor Dr. Ufuk Atmaca have successfully developed a cream that promises a revolution in wound healing. Initially, their journey began with an observation of a significant gap in literature related to this field, which prompted them to venture into the exploration of a novel wound-healing solution.
The Role of a Unique Fungus Strain
Despite the financial challenges of turning a plant harvested at sea level into a potent molecule, the researchers pursued their goal relentlessly. Their breakthrough came when Professor Dr. Özlem Barış introduced them to a strain of fungus dubbed MC9. This fungus not only simplified their process but also enhanced the effectiveness of the cream. What was striking about this development was the fact that even micrograms of the medicine provided the desired treatment. The solubility of the cream in water played a crucial role in its effectiveness, aligning perfectly with the requirements of plant chemistry.
Significant Healing Time and Success
The time required for healing wounds using this cream is of notable significance. With intensive treatment, patients suffering from diabetic wounds began to show signs of recovery within a month. The cream was tested on volunteer patients, including one whose foot was in danger of amputation. Under medical supervision, the healing effectiveness of the medicine was confirmed, with the patient’s foot saved from the dreaded surgical procedure.
Applications and Benefits of the Cream
The cream does more than heal wounds. When applied to normal skin, it also moisturizes. However, the researchers recommend its use primarily for wounds like diabetic ulcers, burn wounds, and assault wounds. The cream, a natural product prepared with 100% plant content, can be used without the need for hyperbaric oxygen in treating bedsores and diabetic wounds. Blood analysis from patients showed no toxic effect, confirming the safety of the medicine.
A Glimpse into the Future of Wound Healing
According to Dr. Çelik, a process of 1 to 1.5 years is required to further improve the drug. With support from the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this miraculous cream could soon be a common item on the shelves of pharmacies, bringing a new era in the treatment of wounds. This development not only marks a significant milestone in medicinal research but also brings a ray of hope for those suffering from chronic wounds.
