A woman gives birth to a baby girl in the courtyard of Prophet’s Mosque

Saudi Red Crescent (@mediasrcaen) volunteers operating in the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah helped a woman safely deliver a baby in the mosque’s courtyards.

Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s Madinah branch, Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Zahrani, said the SRCA volunteer team of the ambulance center on the Al-Haram premises helped the woman. He added that the woman was in a critical state when the teams arrived at the scene.

The SRCA team in its statement, said, “The woman was experiencing contractions, indicating that she was in labor. Her water had broken and the baby’s head had already come out.”
