Firefighters are tackling a large fire at Mystic’s Seaport Marine

Firefighters from multiple area departments are tackling a massive 4-alarm fire at Seaport Marine in Mystic CT that broke out just before 9 p.m. Sunday with multiple structures on fire.
Large flames and heavy smoke could be seen coming from the interior of the property as of 9:50 p.m. The raging fire, which appeared to be spreading around 10:10 p.m., was located just south of the end of Cottrell Street, where several large boat sheds exist.
Police have closed nearby streets and evacuated nearby buildings. The power is also out in the area.
