A police patrolling party in the Pak Colony area of Karachi was attacked by unidentified armed men on a motorcycle on Friday. According to a spokesperson for the Karachi Police, the assailants opened fire on the police patrolling party near Musharraf Park when they tried to stop three suspicious men riding on a motorcycle.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Keamari reported that instead of stopping, the assailants opened fire at the police party. The police officials quickly retaliated and managed to arrest one of the accused in an injured condition. However, his accomplices were able to escape from the scene.
The police are currently investigating the accused and trying to locate his other accomplice who managed to flee. This incident highlights the dangers that police officers face while performing their duties and the need for increased security measures to protect them.
