Missing Restaurant Owner’s Body Discovered in Two Trolley Bags
In a shocking turn of events, the Kerala police made a disturbing discovery on Friday as they found a corpse stuffed in two trolley bags. The body is suspected to be that of Siddique, a missing restaurant owner from Kozhikode district. The investigation into this gruesome incident has led to the arrest of three suspects.
Suspects Detained in Connection with the Murder
According to the Malappuram Superintendent of Police, S Sujith Das, the primary suspects in this case are Shibili, a former employee of Siddique’s hotel, and Sharfana, a female friend of the accused. Both were initially absconding but have been detained in Chennai with the assistance of the Railway police. The police are in the process of bringing them back for further interrogation.
Missing since May 18: Family’s Complaint Prompts Investigation
Siddique had been reported missing by his family on May 18, leading to a formal complaint being lodged with the police. The investigation took a grim turn when information regarding the body came to light from the statement of a third person who is currently under custody and is known to be a friend of Shibili.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder occurred between May 18 and 19, making the body approximately seven days old. The police suspect that personal issues may have been the motive behind the murder.
