
Foreign Nationals Apprehended in Cambodia for Robbery

In an unfolding narrative of crime and capture, Kampot provincial police in Cambodia have apprehended two foreign nationals for their alleged involvement in a robbery case. The arrested, identified as Amjad Abbas and Talwinder, are currently under legal proceedings following their detention on November 20, 2023.

The incident took place in Teuk Chhou district, Kampot province, where the victim, Fahad Chaudray, was deprived of his belongings. The stolen assets included an iPhone 14, a Samsung Galaxy, and $1,500 in cash. Chaudray, a Pakistani national, reported the incident to the local authorities, setting the wheels of law enforcement in motion.
Swift Police Action
Acting on Chaudray’s complaint, the police, under the command of Major General Mao Chan Muthrith, initiated inquiries and search operations. Their relentless pursuit led to the subsequent capture of the suspects, highlighting the efficacy of Kampot’s law enforcement system.
