The Tragedy That Was Storm Daniel

Ibrahim Abdul Ghaffar, the spokesperson for the Libyan Armed Forces’ commander, confirmed the death count from Derna city to be around 4,120 victims. The search for survivors is still ongoing, with the hope of recovery from the disaster soon, according to a hopeful Health Minister benefitting from Parliament’s authorization.

The savage flood resulted from the collapse of two significant dams due to Storm Daniel.
