Morocco is making significant progress in the development of green hydrogen as part of its efforts to transition to a more sustainable energy system and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The World Energy Council has identified Morocco as one of six countries with strong potential for the production and export of hydrogen and other green molecules such as ammonia and methanol.
The country has already gained significant experience in the field of renewable energy and, under the guidance of King Mohammed VI, has become a regional leader in this area.
In a recent meeting focused on the growth of renewable energy, the King issued orders to accelerate the development of solar and wind energy in Morocco.
