Jeddah’s institutions suspend classes and exams for Thursday due to weather conditions

Owing to rainy conditions throughout the Makkah region, public, private, and international schools in Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais have suspended classes for Thursday.

This comes shortly after the National Center of Meteorology’s weather forecast report, wherein it has predicted rainfall in several parts of the region. King Abdulaziz University and the University of Jeddah have also called off classes for Thursday to ensure students’ safety.

King Abdulaziz University said that it will announce the alternative dates for postponed exams later. Schools’ first semester’s final exams for Thursday will now be conducted on the first Thursday of the second semester.
