Recent reports have revealed that the fruit crops in Sindh, Pakistan, including mangoes, bananas, and dates, have suffered extensive damage due to the onslaught of heavy rainfall and strong winds. The adverse weather conditions persisted for three days, impacting Hyderabad and various other parts of the region.

Mango Crop Bears the Brunt of Adverse Weather

Nabi Bux, the Senior Vice President of the Chamber of Agriculture, emphasized that the mango crop has been particularly hard-hit, with an estimated 20 percent of the total crop being damaged. The mango cultivation in Sindh spans over 100,000 acres, making it a vital economic activity for the region. Unfortunately, the recent weather changes brought torrential rain and strong gales, leading to severe destruction of the mango crops.
