Blue/Yellow NGO Reports Arrival of 3 Radars from Lithuania to Ukraine, with More on the Way

Ukrainian Defense Strengthened by Donation of 16 Radars
Blue/Yellow, a non-governmental organization, has announced that three out of the sixteen radars purchased with donations from Lithuania have arrived in Ukraine, while the remaining are being prepared for delivery. The organization reported on Facebook that the first three radars have been deployed to their respective sectors, while documentation for the remaining radars is being processed.
Due to the sensitive situation surrounding air defense in Ukraine, the organization refrained from providing further details. However, this news is a welcome development for Ukraine, which has been facing ongoing military aggression from Russia.
In February of this year, Blue/Yellow launched a crowdfunding campaign called “Radarom!” that aimed to raise funds to purchase radars for Ukraine. The campaign ran for almost a month and raised a total of €14 million. This successful fundraising effort enabled the purchase of 16 radars, which will significantly enhance Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
The arrival of the first three radars is a crucial step in strengthening Ukraine’s air defense capabilities. The remaining radars will also contribute to enhancing Ukraine’s ability to detect and respond to potential threats in its airspace.
