As the United States prepares to offer its own tanks, the chancellor is questioned about the state of German-American relations.
According to him, relations between the US and Germany are at their best point in a very long time.
“The American president is a very capable individual who makes wise decisions in international settings, and for him, working as a member of the transatlantic alliance is important. He is a very good partner for us, for Germany.”
