On Friday evening, a group of picnic-goers traveling on a tourist bus from Bhatiari of Chittagong to Rangamati had their outing cut short by a devastating accident. The bus overturned in the Manikchari area, resulting in the death of two individuals whose identities have not yet been disclosed. Three other individuals, Nurul Islam (42), Jamal Uddin (60), and Arman Khan (56), all residents of the Bhatiari area, were injured and have been identified by officers at the scene.
The incident occurred at around 7 pm, according to Rangamati Additional Superintendent of Police Shahnewaz Raju. The cause of the accident is currently unknown, and an investigation is underway.
