Pregnant woman loses child after car crash in Calgary

A pregnant woman lost her child after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday in southeast Calgary, informed Calgary Police Service.
A truck was parked in the far-right eastbound lane of Stoney Trail and waiting for a tow truck when another car travelling eastbound on the highway struck the back of the truck. The release further said that first the car caught on fire, which then spread to the truck.
The two occupants of the truck, men in their 40s, were not injured. The pregnant woman in her 20s, driving the car, lost her child following the crash. Police say speed, alcohol or drugs are not considered factors in the incident.
