The police in Japanese Mizumaki, Fukuoka Prefecture, have reported that a 52-year-old woman found dead in her apartment on Monday was determined to have died from asphyxiation, according to the results of an autopsy.

Tsugumi Tsuji, a part-time worker who lived alone, raised concerns when she failed to show up for work on Monday.
Her workplace contacted the police after unsuccessful attempts to reach her. Tsuji was last seen leaving her workplace on Friday afternoon, adding to the mystery surrounding her sudden disappearance.
Apartment Found Ransacked and Unlocked
Upon arriving at Tsuji's apartment in response to the missing person report, the police discovered signs of a disturbance.
The apartment appeared to have been ransacked, with drawers left open and belongings scattered throughout the premises.
