
Turkmenistan Celebrates 32nd Anniversary of Independence

A Grand Affair in Turkmenistan
The 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence was recently celebrated with an array of festive activities. The state complex in southern Ashgabat was the epicenter of the celebrations, which included a military parade, folk dances, and costumed performances. Along with the main events, horse races at the International Ahal Teke Equestrian Complex were planned, as well as performances by bagshy musicians, cultural figures, and artists.
