Jimin, a member of the popular South Korean boy band BTS, has recently released a new single titled ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ as part of his upcoming debut solo album ‘FACE’, which is set to release on March 24th.
The accompanying visuals show Jimin dancing among a group of dancers in a large studio. In an interview with Consequence, Jimin expressed his attachment to the song, saying that he went to the US to record the choir and listening to it with the choir was an amazing memory for him.
Jimin explained that his album ‘FACE’ reflects on his personal growth and how he overcame obstacles. He hopes that people will be able to understand the emotions he’s trying to convey through his music.
Despite feeling nervous about releasing solo material, he wants to make his fellow BTS members proud and not be an embarrassment to the group. Jimin acknowledges that the other members of BTS had similar feelings before releasing their own solo material, but they achieved great results.
